Today we’re talking San Francisco. Located up in Northern California, the hilly city is home to massive cloud computing gatherings—hello Dreamforce—and highly photogenic sights layered in actual, dreamy blankets of personified fog. Of course, there is the Golden Gate Bridge along with a whole list of sites that have played host to beloved city-centric pop culture moments i.e. run-ins with trolley cars and a now requisite photo-op with the famous, pastel “painted ladies” Victorian row houses in Alamo Square.
While some of Instagram’s SF natives remind us that the city looks like a lovely place to call home—even if they don’t anymore :’( —with high rent prices billed as the new normal rivaling even NYC’s, we’re thinking a well-planned visit is in the cards.
