For most of us, we left behind the concept of “summer break” when we tossed our grad caps into the air. One group of people still getting some (deserved) time off: soccer stars, proving they’re powerhouses off the field, too. Here, a look at how pro ballers do the vacation thing.

Last weekend was not a relaxing one for the Real Madrid defender. The team narrowly overcame rival Atlético Madrid (on penalties), and while the team’s defense only let in one goal, their victory’s being chalked up to a seemingly-too-easy round of knockouts. All of which is to say, we’re not sure Marcleo cares what went down because he trains his ass off all year round—most of his posts are scrimmage snaps, and one week ago, he wrote on this post, “Fast is great, but I want to be first.” You got it, dude.

You know the Ligue 1 season’s over when the PSG boys are ‘gramming anything other than the field. Right now, the Brazilian-born defender—one of the finest in the game—is soaking up the sun on a beach in nothing but a Speedo. Perhaps mulling over United’s rumored interest in getting him out of his 2-year PSG contract?

The Turkish soccer club’s forward was recently named to the squad for Euro 2016—the full team line up’s here —which has the sports world chattering. Fitting, since the ever-smiling, banter-loving Podolski’s one of the most socially active players the world over. His Snapchat game is all-time: lukas10podolski to see for yourselves.

A sampling of auto-fills that populate when you Google the English winger: Instagram, Snapchat, FIFA, injury, girlfriend, injury. The 22-year-old’s had a wild season which ended in rumors of a trade to West Ham. His Instagram hasn’t given any clues except that he’s training and still taking selfies as per usual.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira is better known as Ronaldinho, and is one of the sport’s hall-of-fame-level all-time greats. At 36 years old, he’s “found himself” as far as baller personalities go, and he has the requisite philanthropy work and endorsements to show for it. His 2005 Nike advertisement —that one where he juggles a ball and volleys it off a goal’s crossbar? It was Youtube’s first video to reach one million views.
