Drake was his own bar mitzvah photographer on Monday night, blowing up Instagram with pics from the celebrations lasting well into the morning hours of his 31st birthday, 10.24.86. October’s Very Own was in rare form, making several venue and outfit changes throughout the night—including slipping into a brand new Tom Ford jacket.
Starting off with dinner and dessert at Catch, the real partying took place at Poppy in West Hollywood. The decor? Red solo cups emblazoned with “Aubrey’s Re-Bar Mitzvah” and “Papi’s Pizza” boxes and along with pictures from his youth. Scattered throughout the venue, showing his evolution as an artist and human being.
Even with stars from Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire to Tracee Ellis Ross and Jamie Foxx in attendance, we love that Drake keeps his birthday a family affair.
