If there’s any season to enjoy being single, it’s summertime. Fun in the sun, mingling, it’s the opportune time to connect. Bumble wants to help users do just that, romantically via Bumble Honey, in friendship through Bumble bff, and soon in business with Bumble bizz set to launch Fall 2017.
How does Bumble kick off the summer? With their first brick and mortar pop-up location, The Hive, at 158 Mercer St. in NYC. After showing proof of Bumble account usage, Hive attendees were treated to food, drinks and special appearances. Guests ranging from Jake Rosenberg of The Coveteur to Tituss Burgess and Louise Roe, offered up advice and entertainment.
The event was made possible through Queen Bee, Bumble CEO Whit Wolfe, who also made an appearance alongside the women behind The Skimm Danielle Weisberg and Carly Zakin, holding a panel on succeeding in the typically male-dominated tech world.
No wonder everyone’s buzzing. Check out other hive member highlights here.
