Scenic views, delectable bites and worldly clientele are to be found at the new Cecconi’s, located in Dumbo Brooklyn. Nick Jones, founder of Soho House and owner of the high-end Italian restaurant group, found the fresh take he was looking for in the location at 55 Water Street, characterized by open spaces and elegant details.
The Brooklyn site joins the ranks of restaurants based in Berlin, West Hollywood, Miami, Barcelona and the original Cecconi’s London est. in 1979. The menu, a collaboration between head chef Riccardo Bilotta and Andrea Cavaliere, is described in Jones’ own words as “Italian grand brasserie.”
Opening night saw jet-setters, media moguls and, of course, Soho House members posting to Instagram, don’t worry though, unlike the exclusive members only club, the restaurant is open for the public to enjoy. Bon Appétit.
