At age seventeen, Johnny became the youngest person to climb the seven summits. As if that wasn’t accomplishment enough, he then became a professional skier. We love seeing anything on our feed from him because his life off the mountain is just as hard-charging as his turns on the big screen. When he’s not skiing, he’s climbing, and when he’s not climbing, he’s surfing, and when he’s not surfing, well, you get the idea.

The informal bike duo is made up of Whit Boucher @whitboucher and Ian Fohrman @iandavidf, two dudes who spent this past summer biking as many of the Colorado 14ers as possible. Eighteen peaks were on the list, and at last update, the guys had completed four. They’ve raised important discussions about use of national parks and their mountain-top photos are a great source of motivation right before a ride.

It’s not surprising she’s one of the best-known women in the professional skiing world. She travels all over the globe not just to ski, but also to bike, fish and go canyoneering. She documents her travels in a way that makes us feel like we’re on the trip, and every place she visits ends up on our bucket list.

Depending on the season, he’s either tending the family ranch in Wyoming or looking for deep lines in the backcountry. Because he’s constantly on the go, Mark’s shots highlight everything we love about the West.

He covers a lot of ground—literally—as he spreads the word of @manda, his natural grooming brand. He lives out of a van, so between his tiny home and his surf mission, his photos are enough to make anyone anxious for an exotic road trip.

Nick was one of TGR’s lead cinematographers on Jeremy Jones’ Deeper, Further, Higher Trilogy. Since moving on from the action sports realm, he’s continued to travel the country and shoot outdoor adventures, urban escapades and portraits of his travel companions. His unique perspective, diverse mediums and use of natural light give his feed a dreamlike quality.

Her feed makes us feel like this woman knows the outdoors. She’s a native of Revelstoke, BC and started biking professionally in 1994, then followed her love for coaching. Her passion for introducing people to downhill mountain biking is evident in each photos and her attitude is never less than uplifting. Her feed make us feel like we’re ready to take on the world—especially the ones about the heli-bike rack she is patenting with her sister, the helicopter pilot.

We love having this all-around athlete on our roster. He grew up on skis, and spends his summers on the end of a climbing rope—usually near his hometown of Aspen. From his account, it’s easy to see why he loves the mountain playground he calls home. His photos encourage us to experience all that the West has to offer.

He quit a design job in New York to live in a van, and now he lives in a treehouse. He also surfs, sails, skates, snowboards, writes books (Home Is Where You Park IT), and sometimes goes out on the road in his tiny camper home. But most importantly – in case you missed it the first time – he lives in a treehouse! Plus, he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. His Instagram feed is all of our childhood dreams come true.

Before she became the Associate Digital Editor for Skiing Magazine, Leslie was a TGR intern, and many of the features she wrote were inspired by her climbing and backcountry skiing adventures—especially the ones that posed incredible challenges. It’s no doubt she’s a bad ass, but she’s also a realist and not afraid to talk about her vulnerabilities. Her feed is a window into the mindset of someone who is very brave and experiencing many things for the first time. It reminds us of our own “firsts” in the mountains and the days that made us stronger.

The Wyoming-born-and-bred powerhouse was named Miss Wyoming Teen USA in 2009, but she didn’t let that title pigeonhole her. Instead, she saw it as an awesome springboard to promote her two passions: protecting the environment and getting women into the outdoors. She is fun-loving, and courageous, and inspiring.
