Three years before her beauty was formally acknowledged by the fashion industry, she created EFF YOUR BEAUTY STANDARDS to invite her followers to “stop hiding your body because society tells you to” and “break out those horizontal stripes.” The hashtag has since been tagged on Instagram over three million times. Flyin’ today!☀️I also only finished packin for LA this morning because procrastination is my jam as a result of becoming very overwhelmed very easily. I tried to start packing at 2pm yesterday and I still had barely anything done by 10. It reminds me a lot of when I was in high school and college. I’d felt nervous and stressed for hours on end about my jobs, my debt, my exams - yet I could get NOTHING accomplished. ☝🏼yesterday, I treated myself differently: I was nice. understanding. compassionate. patient. and I said: hey, you seem really stressed out. Let’s just take a break. A real break. Go stretch and breathe a bit. Go have some dinner. And resume packing when you’re ready 🙂 when I got back to stuffing my luggage with way too many shoes & shorts, it felt a whole lot better and I actually got it DONE✨ key: slow down. be nice. all 4 you💫
