#RevolveAwards Influencer of the Year @Negin_Mirsalehi

Last week the #revolveawards made their debut at Dream Hollywood in LA. While it’s their first foray into awards show hosting, this is not the first outing for the brand in the social space. We’ve covered their luxurious brand getaways—like Revolve House in the Hamptons in our first issue of Gramlist.50—and followed their journey in creating an influencer network from the very early stages of bloggerdom when other brands didn’t quite understand the power these influencers would hold in fashion.

Now, they’ve brought their network together once again, with a collective reach of about 11 million followers, in what Fashionista refers to as an “Influencer Prom.” Revolve’s feed is chock-full of fabulous event photos, like a proud parent would display on their mantle—only here the subjects are decked out in designer pieces only the brand can provide to loyal followers turned customers.

Looking through the event’s lists of nominees and winners, you’ll see some repetition, among familiar names like Song of Style’s Aimee Song and Sincerely Jules’ Julie Sariñana. Appearing as one of the most frequent noms and winners, including Influencer of the Year and #CoupleGoals of the Year was Negin Mirsalehi.

While discussion of the top tier influencer world can become insular with the same names circulating and stagnating, Mirsalehi has broken out in a fresh way. Already garnering recent attention for her honey-based haircare line with interviews in publications from Allure to WWD, it’s also telling that she won two categories voted on by fans alone.

With 4,395,028 followers and an average of 140,512 likes per post, it’s clear Mirsalehi holds sway in the social world and plans to continue to take the hair, fashion and beauty worlds by storm.
